MMA to provide free education

SUKKUR - The Ameer, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, and a candidate for NA-198, Maulana Asad Thanvi, here on Wednesday said the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) would prove the last nail in the coffin of secular forces.

Speaking at a corner meeting, Maulana Thanvi said the PPP and the PML had promoted corruption in the society during their tenures and added the people would not allow them to come into power again.

He said both the parties were facing disintegration in their ranks.

The JUI leader said the MMA would rise as a revolutionary force in the coming election. He said the MMA would promote merit in the country and a pious leadership would be brought forward to lead the country.

He further said free education and health facilities would be provided to people without any discrimination.

Maulana Thanvi said an exploitation-free society would be established and the state land, occupied by feudal, would be distributed among landless peasants. He said the Zakat system would be made fair and the Islamic system of jurisprudence would be enacted.

The JUI leader said the 1860 Anglo-Saxon laws would be changed with the Islamic laws and a true political system based on Khilafat-i-Rashida would be introduced.
